Seton Hall will confuse the Huskies for most of the game with a 3-3 rotating triangular zone. But Geno will adjust by rotating the 3 and 4 spots through the short corner into the blind side. It will be close for most of the game, but in the end its UConn 103 Seton Hall 6.

Seton Hall has been no slouch recently and they are 7-1. Having said that they lost to UCLA by about 16 or so, and haven't played anyone else of note (teams like Wagner etc). Still, they play pesky defense and I don't know that we reach more than 90...

94 UConn 72 Mother Seaton
ONO
A very smart Geno, knowing his bench needs work will play Coombs, Molly, Irwin, CW/ONO, with the 4 in and out to stabilize after the first 5 minutes in each half. Coombs double double 14 points and 12 assists.. ONO triple double: 18 points, 15 rebounds, 10 blocks, Molly 10 points, 14 assists, 3 rb's, 1 (block that' scored), Irwin another trip double 13 rbs, 14 points, 14 assists and 2 blocks the stat people miss. One technical--on Geno when complaining about KLS being tackled just short of the goal.

With MW out, some of these predictions seem to be a bit to optimistic.

I was more conservative than most

Since UConn will be down to 8 available players, the starters will see more minutes than normally would occur by the 4th quarter. Therefore the point spread will be about 14% higher, resulting in a 94 - 53 UConn victory.

No Walker but playing at home.
I expect a 55+ point first half.

Like St. Louis, Seton Hall is no match for UConn. This game will serve as an opportunity for the reserves to get some meaningful minutes. I want to see everyone get double digit minutes, and no one gets hurt. Everyone goes into the end of the semester break healthy.

I got my wish. A little sluggish coming out of halftime. ONO looked good in spots. Molly shot well today. I don’t think Christyn scored in the second half. They won, and no one got hurt, I’ll take that. :D
