Prognosticators Game 5

102-66, the first 100 point game of the year. MS scores 40 for the first three quarters and UConn subs give up 26 in the fourth, fitting the pattern for the year.
I think you're spot on and I also think the starters all score double figures.

Agree. If UCLA could only score 60 against us, how in the world is Michigan State going to score more than 60?? (Unless our bench players lose the 4th quarter to their starters by 15 points). UConn 88-45
Predict Mich State stronger than anticipated. UConn to be up by 35 in 4th Q and Geno gets in an uncharacteristically generous holiday mood and lets Frosh play while State keeps starters in. UConn "only" wins by 25. Gives Geno good topics for next team meeting.

UConn 91 Michigan St 53. Hard game to predict due to the cupcakes Mich St has played. Can't see Geno/Coaching Staff allowing players having a let down after the big UCLA win. I also expect Azura' to have a big game if she's not in Geno's doghouse and doesn't start. Caroline Doty works for Nike, I wonder if she hosted the team for a lunch/dinner. Even if she didn't I'm sure she passed on some words of wisdom for the team.

In November 2014, UConn went out west to play UC Davis and Stanford. After blowing out UCD, the Huskies played Stanford. Everyone remembers the outcome of that game. A case of let down, or just not being ready to play? This is a reverse scenario, playing a less talented team after playing a top 10 team.

A let down would be natural, but Geno and staff will not let that happen. The girls will be ready to play. Michigan State is not as good as their record would suggest. It's difficult to assess a team's level of skill, ability and maturity when all you have judge from is a contingent of lesser talented/competitive programs. UConn rolls past Michigan State 95-52

If the team had decided to stay in L.A., they could have had dinner at the Samuelsons or the Bryants, but they needed to get up to Oregon.

Did I miss it, or was Reimer in their first game box score (with very decent stats) but not listed in their subsequent games/box scores? Injury? Couldnt find anything on their website.

I think we're still not quite over periods of stagnant offense or a defensive letdown in the 4th quarter, so I will predict

UConn 81-58 MSU, which makes the game seem closer than it actually was. I expect something like 48-22 at halftime.

After three games in five days, they have had a good break and are rested. Starters set furious pace from opening tip, and fourth quarter bench performance improves a little.

Collier has 23 again, UConn 96 - 54.

UCONN 93-49!
MSU does not have anyone talented enough to slow UCONN down!
The UCONN score will be as high as freshmen/sophomores allow it to go to in 4th period!

MSU will be in the top third of B1G teams but I don't think that means much. I predict a 35 point MOV with a final score of 90-55.
