SMU will be beaten by Lou. Megan and K get to play. I think? With the regular season prognosticators championship down to it’s last 2 games JordyG has precarious lead. Top 25 and ties move on to playoffs. UConn was 97-41

SMU is 10-17 overall but 8-5 at home.
Senior Night so look for a top effort.

I don’t have a feel for this one....just like the 1st 27 games this season. What the hell.

Given the long trip home and the next game on Monday, the bench should see a lot of playing time. So my guess is Uconn 88 SMU 42.

Normally I'd say our bench gets a lot of PT, but with Megan and Mikayla in the dog house, I guess Kyla, Batouly and Molly will see more than normal PT. I do hope Walker and Coombs get some scratch.

Massey doesn't think much of this match up either. They've got UConn winning by 51 points, 86-35.
Sounds about right. SMU has lost 11 of their last 15 games (3 by 20+), and are currently riding a two game losing skid. Make it three. This one will be over by half time. The starters play hard, and the bench plays harder. The season is winding down for the Mustangs. Their season was over 2 weeks ago. I don't see any post-season tournament invitations for them this season.

It will be interesting to see how Geno uses the bench in the 2nd half. I'm guessing no starter plays more than 25 minutes. With the Huskies scheduled to play their final game of the regular season in less than 48 hours against the 17th ranked (USA Today) USF Bulls, Geno may not want to play them any more than necessary. I t will be interesting to see if Walker and Coombs are still in his dog house? It's awful late in the season to still be sending messages. Any "lessons" or messages that needed to be sent, should have been sent and received by now. I'm guessing message(s) received, and they both play.

UConn 103 - SMU 38

After getting up for the Tulane revenge game and then partying all night in NO, add in the long road trip. Seems like a trap game to me.

SMU in a tight one, 73-69.

Lou and Pheesa pass the combined 3,000 point plateau in the first half. Bench players are mixed in with the starters until the 4th qtr, then it's all bench. UConn 104 - SMU 51

Lou and Z go for 20+ each.

Geno rests the players a little for Monday.

A comfortable 94-49 win.
