This is the kind of game where you hope that your talent on paper, shows up and just dominates the other team. Because Coach Geno knows that his team has the talent. Pretty sure he just wants that to show out on the court for 40 minutes.

I expect the defense to be better. Scoring won't be an issue.

Note: Most people post their number after seeing only page 1, hence not seeing others' number at pages 2 or 3.

Dang, I had my score in mind even before the this thread, I have been surrounded, stepped on and had my score duplicated. After rethinking everything I am still in the middle of almost all of you. That said UCONN 94-57 :cool:
 
Sclaia can light it up. Minnesota has added some good transfers also. They are better than last year. 85-67

The bench gets A LOT of PT. Geno is gonna give his first starting five some good rest before the intense weekend. Otherwise the score would be more ridiculous.

Lots of PT from the bench - this could very well be the game where Azzi gets her "sea legs" for the Huskies. :)

Not sure what @MSGRET was looking at then he reviewed the Gophers first 4 games of Jacksonville, ASU, GW and American as I would have predicted the EXACT 3-1 record they have. Granted I would have had Jacksonville as a win and ASU as a loss but anyone would have bet on them beating GW and American. That does not mean they are remotely good-they aren't.

UConn gets the kinks worked out, Aubrey plays some and the final is 90-68.
 
UCONN had no problem scoring on Arkansas (well Paige had no problem). We put up 95 points on them. The problem was the defense was "really really bad". Ark was a game where we NEEDED Paige. The team started off gangbusters in Q1 (out 17-2) and Paige didn't score. We ground to a half after that and Paige started picking it up in Q2.

I am HOPEFUL that this game is different. Sure I'd like to see Paige get her 20, but if we score over 90, I'd LOVE to see at least 4 others scoring in double digits. Given that I think Paige really tries to get the ball to others, and given that I don't think Minny will challenge us, Paige won't need to be "heroic".

BTW Minny has not scored over 73 in a game even tho they are 3-1, and put up 48 over GW in a low scoring 48-32 point win. I'm thinking Minny will be offensively challenged, even if our defense is sucky.
