After seeing the loss to Jacksonville, I figured that they would lose to at least ASU and at best be 2 - 2.

You obviously over rated ASU who is really, really bad. They will give Cal a good run for the basement of the PAC12.
I watched that Minn-ASU game and both were brutal. Minn blew an 10 point lead at 8:23 of that game (50-40) and only scored 4 points the rest of the 4th that allowed ASU back in and into OT. Just bad basketball and bad coaching.

So upon further reflection, I want to revise my prognostication.

I think they will improve on defense, but Paige will not be as dominant, so UConn won't score as much.

seriously, who doesn't prefer ice cream to an ice storm? u see any cherries on top of that frozen mess? so that's my prediction, a chilled concoction, with a cherry on top, comes out ahead of a frosty disaster, every time, according to my exhaustive poll of the fleabags, a few oat chompers, and me.

I'm guessing that the focus will be on DEFENSE against the Gophers. Geno will probably be relentless in practice this week, really roasting anyone who doesn't satisfy him.
So, I'm going to say: UCONN - 75, Minnesota - 48
 
82-69 UConn. Bench clears early to rest rotation for game 2 and (likely) final match-up with SC.
