I'm thinking there is going to be a let down. Only 1 days rest, UCONN had to play overtime. Gonna be real tired.

Pirates win 69-66.
 
If they play defense like they did last night, it won't be close. They may be in cruise control a bit after last night, but I don't think Paige and Nika will allow that. Should be a chance to get Evina some rest as the rotation should be deeper against the Pirates.

UCONN 92, Seton Hall 60.

UConn will hold Park-Lane somewhat in check because she won't get as many shots because of Espinoza-Hunter. If I'm Seton Hall I use AEH as a decoy and still reply on Park-Lane to play her game. UConn had no answer for her in the first game and I don't see that changing. I believe UConn's defense can hold AEH in check.

91-56. Look for starters to get a lot of rest and Mir, Saylor, Paith and the gang to get a lot of second half minutes.

After a big match-up with SC, UConn has a bit of a let down vs Seton Hall, but the Huskies still manage to win by 20 in an ugly game.

Uconn 92-68..have to expect a drop off in intensity though..imagine how proud the newbies will be coming on the court being #1

hmmmmmmm.........which UConn team is showing up for this game? I really don't know but a letdown after that big game is only natural.........Who's healthy? Who's exhausted? Hopefully CW an ONO get back on track and take some of the scoring load off of PB............I'll say 86-71 UConn..........a win without injuries is all I'm asking.......
 
For the fun of it I’m going to make a different type of prognostication. Paige won’t keep her 30 streak going, but will assist on at least 5 Christyn Williams buckets tonight. They need to get CW’s confidence up again to be the reliable No. 2 scoring option, so Paige will have her radar up looking for her at all times, rather than trying to score as much. Just a hunch.
 
UConn 91 - 63. Paige doesn't get 30 because she doesn't have to and gets some rest. Nika gets 18. CW gets 22. E gets a rest. Anna back and gets 50 (OK so a dream only but wish it were true). At least 7 players in double figures.
 
This may only be a comfortable win but not a blow out. Short rest after an emotional OT win against a number one team adds up to a classic let down game. Hope I'm wrong.

Not at all. Somewhere in there is the kid who scored 25 against Notre Dame as a freshman. Or 29 vs. DePaul and 20 against Tennessee a couple weeks ago. You can’t bail on players in a downturn. Maybe not a good comparison since she was a freshman, but Stewie had 0 in a loss to Baylor in less than 10 minutes and shot 1-7 in the triple OT loss to Notre Dame. We could have relegated her to permanent role player status until her sophomore year, but fortunately we kept working on getting her to trend back upwards to the point she was confident enough to take over.
