Regardless of who I feel is favored, SC also beat Arkansas (a team that beat UConn by three) — by 22. UConn also beat Tennessee by 6, I believe. We will see how SC does in that matchup later this month. The tally right now is 39 Boneyarders think UConn will win while 16 people(some of them SC fans) think SC will win.
Here are some numbers that support my membership in the group of 39: SC beat South Dakota by 10 points, Gonzaga by 7, Kentucky by 5 and lowly LSU by a measly 4 points. They beat Alabama, Florida and Georgia by 12-17 points - not exactly blowouts. They lost by 8 points to NC State, a team looking weaker and weaker by the day.
It could happen; but, I will be unpleasantly surprised if SC comes into the Nutmeg State tomorrow and beats UConn.
According to Aaliyah she is doing fine. Nothing was broken or fractured. If you ask me the next day ...”what was the score of the game last night”...I can NEVER remember but I do know if the game is in UCONN favor...so if UCONN wins by 1pt.
I will be over the moon.
Off the subject...has anyone heard how Edwards is...hope she doesn’t lose
What did the Massy ratings say about the NC St./North Carolina game yesterday ?Massey ratings has UConn winning 72-68 and ranks UConn #1, S.C. #2
Maybe a little too optimistic.... LOLFeeling very optimistic UCONN 89 SC 71
Check out the common opponent games, Arkansas.I will be very surprised if we lose this game. We have so much more firepower than last year and we finally have a banger inside, albeit a freshman. SC has not really shown much dominance this year. They have had many close games with teams I believe would be blown out by UConn. I think we could lose, but probably only if our team plays scared or tight. If UConn plays well, I think we win fairly easily.
UConn 77 - SC 68
Nika will make a big difference tonite. UCONN 85 - SC 78.This is the third SEC team that we play this year and the only one at Gampell. UConn is currently 1 & 1 with the win at Tennessee and the loss at Arkansas. I believe that UConn will win and our record will be 2 & 1 against the SEC. UConn is a different team then the one's that played both Tennessee and Arkansas, they are playing a much better and smoother basketball than I've seen in years. I don't think SC can offset the high - low of Ono and AE or the current backcourt that UConn is using. Paige will not be stopped and with Nika, Evina, or CW they will have to pick their poison. This should be a tough game but UConn is at home, UConn 86 - South Carolina 74. All predictions must be submitted by 6:55 PM EST or 3:55 PM PST. Good luck to all and the Prognosticators Predictions Rules and Scoring System is attached.
Cautiously optimistic, but I'll still record the game and only watch it if I know the Huskies win (my stress level can't take it) UConn 78-71
