Prognosticators Game 13

I think the MOV will be 25 to 30. I think UConn has improved enough on defense to minimize the damage from three point land so it am leaning more toward the 30 point MOV. 98-68 Huskies over the Bulls.

They have a couple of days in Tampa to do R&R, feeling warm and cozy and thinking about how miserable they might be up here in New England right about now.

So, they may be a bit on autopilot, and (as they have a couple of times this season) play down to their opponent. I'm thinking a MOV of no more than 20.

98 - 54 --> USF is down and UConn is rolling. Also, Kyra continues to impress (7-10 pts, with 10+ mins)

I have no faith that USF can match up to UConn. 102-59

Massey says 83-62 with a 97% chance of winning...............I always view USF games as trap games due to their ability to shoot three pointers..............I think there has been one close game in the past few years but USF is always capable of making it tough on the Huskies..............

87-68

USF is better than any other team in the American not named UCONN. Having said that, I think we will win by about 30 or so.

UCONN 88
USF 58

Well its time for the easy games. UConn should cakewalk through this one. They will slide through but hit a rough patch early in the second half and give up the lead. They will right the ship and come sail away.

UConn 104
USF 5

This should be one of UConn's toughest Conference road games. The others being Temple and Houston. With that being said the Final score UConn 98 - USF 63

96-45 you know who.

UConn 81 USF 63

I think USF will attempt to slow UConn down and they'll score with their 3 point shooters.

UConn 80 - USF 64 MOV = 16

One thing that I've noticed over they past few years is that when teams that are on a streak of wins, scoring in the 80's or 90's or putting up some other impressive numbers, that streak comes to a screeching halt when they play UConn. It's because those numbers weren't achieved against schools that play at the level UConn does. Those numbers are usually garnered against programs with lesser talent.

Before their game with UConn, DePaul was in the midst of an impressive 3 game win streak. They had not scored less than 80 points in any of their 8 games prior to that point, eclipsing the century mark twice.

UConn comes to town and holds them to less than 70 points in an impressive 103-69 win. If you remember in that game, ALL of the starters scored in double figures with Gabby and Napheesa posting a double-double. DePaul was held to 9 points in the 3rd quarter.

Will this be a "statement " game where UConn simply trounces the Bulls, and serves notice to the rest of the conference that there's no "new Sheriff in town", but that the old one is still here, and it's business as usual.?!?

I'm going to disagree with Milford - USF does not have a lot of offense. Jesperson and Laksa are the two primary scorers. Ferreira will chip in some. Henshaw has size but not much scoring punch. Preito and Flores have been inconsistent scorers so far.

UConn wins 93 - 57.
