Princeton made UConn work hard to the end of the game last year. Carla Berube is the real deal as a coach

If UConn could use the backdoor cuts (and I know they can) the way Princeton did, it shouldn’t be a tough matchup.

Princeton has virtually no post play, either. Hopefully Ayanna is back to help contain Betts.

Very few teams play to their potential quite the way that Princeton does. Also, Kaitlyn Chen could play for anyone in the country. She had a really nice game.

This is a good tuneup for the Bruins, as it exposes all their issues for the coaches to harp on, without actually registering the L.

After watching this game, Princeton made it tough for UCLA. If this was last year's UCLA squad, they would have gave the game away. Today, they found a way to come back and get the win. Lauren Betts. Holy crap! Princeton threw 3-4 bodies at her, and she was still scoring at will. Kiki Rice looks more comfortable out there. They will be a fun matchup next week.

Also, huge shoutout to Coach Close for showing us high school and AAU girls basketball coaches some love for doing our part for helping to grow the game of women's basketball. We thank the college coaches for allowing us access to college practice sessions, letting us share ideas, and technology.

I like the Princeton team. They are a solid ball club. I think UCLA is going to really miss Bessoir this season.
