Warde is beyond impressing me. I have full faith he will hire a winner.

when he gets done with the presser he should fire the web guy. All-Access stinks. Seen the GEICO and Scotts ad about 10 times

Press is asking the type of questions they should have been asking PP! The sports press around UConn are more interested in their own rapport with coaches than with insightful press coverage.

On whether he threatened or demanded from PP, he says he doesn't go around threatening to fire people. PP a good person...

.-.
He's talked to several of our donors and we're not going backwards (pay scale).

On money...

Has spoken to the donors. "We're not going backwards". Not going to spend $5M, but we're gonna spend.

Introducing TJ Weist.

Pretty clear that Warde and TJ were not close prior to his arriving at UConn - "have gotten to know him over the past several months".

Its not important to watch the presser. Put it on in the background. There's still about a half hour in the work day :).

It's basically like Warde stayed up all night and combed through the Boneyard and summarized that he shares all of our frustrations and concerns and shares our goals, even down to the monetary concerns of hiring the next coach with PP's buyout.

He nailed this thing. Hopefully he follows through on his end.

I'm seriously all tingly over this press conference. Guys, this is the first day we are turning this thing around.

Wonder if the Horde wants to ask TJ how much the offense will change --- or "did you feel as if you were really in charge of the offense"?

Weist is boring the s--- out of me.

Good. It's not about entertaining at the podium. It's about winning on the field. :)

Sounds like TJ Weist hinted at DeLeone and Pasqualoni being a big part of the offense this year and in the past. Going to evaluate what the coaching staff wants to going forward.
