The BEast is represented by Georgetown and the state of Connecticut is represented by Sacred Heart.

Interesting field!! No clear cut winner to me! Should be some great games in the tourney!

Two questions come to mind??

1. How much more improved will Delaware be in EDD's last season?

2. How good will Georgetown be this season?

UDel returns the full starting five. This tourney may be their chance to get more recognition and respect.

G'town has lost much of the supporting cast. Look for Sugar to take lots and lots of shots. I put them at about 6-8 in the Big East.

DE is only top 20 team there. Should win.

Duquesne might be pretty good too.

It will be interesting to see what UNC does in their last pre-Diamond season.

In theory, Deleware, UNC, Iowa and possibly Duquesne are the cream of the crop. While several are mid-major powers, I can't really see anyone else that could win 2 games against the above group, which you would expect to be necessary.

Reminder: UDel is hosting the first two rounds of the NCAA tourney in March. Maybe a serious run at a final 8 [or beyond???] spot?
