If we don't get hit with stupid targeting, roughing the passer, or pass interference calls, we might have a shot. Our D should be able hang in there is the calls are balanced. As for the offense, gotta light up the passing to crush them with our rushing. At the risk of invoking an 80's cartoon...GOOO JOE!

I thought we got absolutely hosed against Wake Forest, but in the Duke game, I didn't really have any serious complaints. I hope we get an officiating crew like that one.

These things are a given against ACC crews.
JM knows it and this is also why i have hope for a win, but very, very, VERY little expectation of a win.

We are barely good enough to keep up with Syracuse if we were to execute perfectly - To win by the margin necessary to ensure bad/biased calls don't make a difference, is asking too much of our boys.

Watch the Duke game again if you get the chance. There was clear interference on a pass to Buckman near the goal line with 5+ minutes left that the officials ate their whistle on. The ACC network guys called it a good no call but it was another obvious horsesh_t call. A TD there would have given Uconn the lead.

Gotta get a pass rush. The games I've seen, McCord carved up secondaries when he had time bc the WR's are fast and athletic. Pitt got after him and caused all sorts of issues. Have to lown the LoS on both sides of the ball.

They are a passing team as we see by the numbers they have put up. McCord has the most passing yards in a year at Syracuse. They have three main targets with Allen the rb catching 50 passes this year. They are dangerous and not sure UConn can get into a shootout with them.
The good guys can win if they can hold them under 27 or so. UConn needs to score some and create turnovers

He throws lots of TDs but he also throws lots of INTs.
