Hurley clearly thinks we have a solid chance at Precious and is dedicating a ton of resources to pursue him. Hopefully we come out on the right side of this one. Polley and Wilson have shown to be a long way off from starter quality on a good team and Precious would fill that gap immediately.

I know Zionn nexted him, so he must have heard something from someone but the way Hurley and co. continue to recruit Achiuwa is the way you eventually get a commitment. Some kids it won't matter with and some kids it matters a ton to.

This isn’t sour grapes, as I do think Cockburn is a talented player, but he is incredibly stationary. I know he will get into better shape- and his height alone will always be a disruption on defense- but he’s getting outreboundwd by guards in this game. Precious is a dynamic player.

Caught a few minutes of the game.. WOW is all I can say about Precious. Kid is unreal. Runs the floor so well, super athletic. I could see him thriving at the free throw line against the zone and then just running the court so well in hurleys up tempo fast break. Impressed.

Man, Precious is a very good player who can handle the ball, shoot and plays defense. He can be excellent at the next level.

Kofi is a nice player but is a little to heavy and needs to lose about 20 pounds or so

Don’t get too excited despite effort - still fighting uphill battle.

He may just go pro but it may come to Memphis, St Johns and UConn

I don’t think anyone thought this would be easy. It has just been clear that UConn is in the hunt and has been the whole time.

This was never a “next”... he may still end up at UNC but Hurley and Co are not recruiting him hard for giggles. They believe they have a solid chance to land him.
