Pre-season scrimmages (public & secret)

@FanInNC you know if y'all would have lost today, I would have gotten in my car, drove to the coliseum, and personally ran your whole team out of Greensboro. But y'all prevailed
Unfortunately I wasn’t able to make the hour and a half drive west to Greensboro today and the game wasn’t streamed or on the radio so just followed some people on twitter. But glad to see the Pack won and hung tight with a quality team.

Defense I think is going to be a big question with this team. Not saying they can’t be good defensively, but losing Hayes and Rivers off a good but not great defense hurts and the main cogs returning are more offensively oriented than defensively. (Mainly thinking of Zoe and Tilda and Zam)

I think State is going to be good by seasons end, I do think it could be a bumpy road getting started. It’s a brutal schedule out there gate with Tennessee, USC and TCU as 3 of the first 4 and then Oklahoma looming shortly after. Baptism by fire for a new look team. Would not be surprised at all to drop 2 or 3 of those games.

But the Pack does have talent and I think they have the right pieces that fit together, and I have faith in Wes to figure out how to maximize it.

Glad we could get the win over the Twerps. Also glad to not have to see Olichi again this year. She lights up when she sees the Pack!

And it's not like Mizzou rolled over. Three of their starters played more than 35 minutes. That by itself seems odd to me in an exhibition vs a D2 team, unless they have several walk-ons.
Game like this I would have put in the walk-ons, a cheerleader and a mascot to cover my potential loss. 🤣

Missouri did have three key players missing,, which could be part of the reason they played heavy minutes.

Mizzou is gonna be bad.
