Interesting. Today's update with the most region moves (12) since 12/10 (10). No changes to top 16 teams.

Thx BRS.
Any reason the region headers are in light blue for CT/NC and yellow for KS/WA?

Maybe? Cannot remember why I picked those colors, although I was really trying to avoid the "not in my color wheel, gaudy orange". The two colors were used to show which regions that are paired in the semis. I've also had some fun looking at the brackets by both original regions and seeds to see the travels of teams. Only 8 of the original 16 teams from the original 4/27/21 predictions have been in the top 16 for all 22 brackets.

.-.
Strictly a guess: maybe the winners of the 2 blues meet in the NCAA semis...the 2 yellow winners do the same.
Assuming the one seeds make it thru it might lead to a South Carolina/Stanford title game.

reminder that the region matchups aren't determined until selection day.

In the last committee rankings it would've been Spokane vs Bridgeport since Stanford was #2 and NC St #3 and Greensboro vs Wichita (#1 / #4). But that could change as rankings change.

Not sure I realized that the semi games aren't set in stone based on the Bracketology, so it will be interesting to see what happens with the final predictions and then the actual brackets. I will probably keep the blue/yellow there and then see how it compares with the actual final bracket. Thanks for the tip!

On edit - as the first two bracketology predictions were prior to the first games of the season (11/9), then there are actually 9 teams that have been in all 20 subsequent top 16s, as Arizona appeared on 11/17.

UConn now in G'boro bracket as a #3. Mostly regional moves, although Arizona down to #3 and Texas to #2

I'm calling BS on this update, as I don't think ND deserves to be in the top 16, however conf tourneys will tell the story over the next week:

2 of Notre Dame, NC State or Louisville will lose this week...2 of Oregon, Arizona or Stanford will lose...2 of Michigan, Maryland or Iowa will lose...2 of Oklahoma, Texas or Baylor will lose... and SC or LSU will lose.

Other than promoting Oregon and Iowa to the top 16 after the weekend games, the 2/28 bracket was a waste of a click. And today, TN is back in the top 16 after a bad loss to Miss St and a close one to LSU? Meh.

Tenn to 3, AZ to 4, a few region shifts. Betting we see much more movement after the next few days.

Waiting for Louisville to get bumped down.
Inevitable I believe.

No new entrants to top 16. UConn & Iowa up, MD, MI, AZ down, and 8 region changes. Surprised CC updated the bracket before Mon/Tues. More clicks I guess.

All top 16 teams still in, just 4 region changes.
