Has the removal of the football stadium begun?

I saw a report on WTNH last week that said demo was about to start. I didn't pay enough attention to get the specific date.

I wonder if any of our BY'ers are currently students. i used to enjoy seeing BlueWhiteKid (i think his name was something like that) post on the board from the students perspective. i believe we have a couple of students at least who post regularly. maybe they could take a walk by and give us an update, or some pictures. would be fun to see and share...

The demolition began this week. Stage 1 is removing the stadium. Actual construction of the facility? Hopefully this fall.
