Power Forward Portal Wish | The Boneyard

Power Forward Portal Wish

NBA seems most likely for him. Would love to have him, but probably too expensive if he withdraws from the draft.

I am assuming that our next portal guy is a power forward. One player I would really like is Allen Graves from Santa Clara. Does anyone have thoughts on this matter?

Graves is a guy you break the bank for in the first week of the portal. I would put the chances of him coming to UConn given what we have in place to be approximately 0.

You scanned through the Sears catalog for toys and electronics????
Yea, as did alot of kids who grew up in the 90s

Are we wishing or assuming? I’m assuming our third big is gonna be closer to the Koroma level like this year, or Singare the two years before that, or a frosh Samson the year before that…

I too would like one of the 2 or 3 best players in the portal. If we can fundraise about $6M between Boneyard posters we might be able to get him to put his NBA dreams aside for a year
If we get a GoFundMe page kicking, we could potentially get him and Momcilovic to platoon backup Khamenia. I think it would be really effective if we give each one 13 minutes to keep them all really fresh.

I don’t think we have the money to pursue a big portal name. We need Mullins and Demary to carry us.
You are really cutting players like Khamenia, Hines and Landrew short.

Landrew will be BE FOY. I bet Hurley has Khamenia studying the playbook already. As long as he has those three clicking by November, along with Ross, all will be good.

My wishlist died a week ago. I was thinking Europe and/or remaining High School kids. I like the Wofford guard but I still think we need a rim protector that 7’2”.

Guess what? 20 years ago I wanted to sleep with Shakira and Jennifer Lopez at the same time. What does that have in common with Allen Graves going to UConn? Neither has a snowball's chance in hell of happening.

I like our current team and think if Nils really coming we did great…I would still like to replace Stewart with legit power forward and know Graves out of our budget and we would have to take minutes from someone..instead I would target Fuchs from USF, Strong from South Carolina or Bradshaw from Memphis, with big if on culture fit, regarding Bradshaw…but imagine what Hurley could do with him, he may even become an NBA prospect again so win win

I think the difference is you’re still hopeful that your chances have improved over the years.
