All of his “write ups” on the 3 BE teams he ranked make it seem as if depth is a concern for each.

BTW, he is wrong about UConn. This roster without Sanogo is a tournament team. This roster with Sanogo is a top 4 seed.

To alot of the unmotivated pundits, there are too many unknowns to give a rational assessment...even though the portal guys have real D1 metrics. They'll be better than 36. We just need to play some games; the team will get its due.
 
Katz write ups are lazy and a joke per usual, but 36th isn't as unreasonable as it's being made out to be. We lost 3 of our 5 best players from last year and are expecting big jumps from returning players and new additions. I could realistically see us finishing anywhere from ~15th-45th.

Also I do think we finish above Xavier, but Colby Jones, Nunge, Freemantle, and Souley Boum is a very solid core for Miller to work with.
 
Nolander has Xavier winning the conference. I hate to accuse national media guys of carrying water, but sometimes I just wonder.
 
Truth is there’s still a lot unknown with this team, no biggie for people throwing them in different places in the top 40 for me. Let’s see how the chemistry forms and where their strengths are. You would think a Karaban or Johnson steps up but we’re not sure. We’re pretty sure they’re going to shoot it pretty well but without a couple 40 percenters ya just never know. Can they rebound the ball when they don’t shoot it well?

Don’t care if they’re in the Top 25 to start or not. I kinda like when they get no respect so let’s hope Katz is like a flame on their butts.

Damn Katz used to be one of our staunchest supporters (and even worked for us for a hot minute) now I don't know what to make of his lazy writing. Sad to see.
 
UCLA, Indiana and TCU are all over rated by Katz who is right about so few things CBK
UConn is better than 36, we hope, but again, a lot is missing from last year and so many new players
Let the fun begin...................
