AAC has 5 games to make the conference look stronger. One is already in the books:

Temple beat Depaul (a win against Big East) 74 v. 65

There are 4 more games to watch:

1. Cincy (#22) @ Butler (#18) at 4:30

2. UConn @ Ohio State

3. URI @ Houston (UH currently trailing)

4. Oklahoma St. @ Tulsa: at 5:00pm

For the 4 remaining games all the opposing teams will be favored. If we can even take 2 of 4 that would be a good day for the conference. 3 out of the remaining 4 or a clean sweep would be a pretty significant statement and will help come tourney time.

First time watching Houston this year. They're looking pesky. Rob Gray Jr. is still the worst defensive guard in the country but is very good offensively.

Two in the books now. Here is an update of todays 5 key games:

Games played so far (2-0):

Temple beat Depaul (a win against Big East) 74 v. 65

Houston beat URI (former top 25 team that was the only team to beat Cincy so far this year) by a score of 82- 77

3 more games to watch:

1. Cincy (#22) @ Butler (#18) at 4:30

2. UConn @ Ohio State

3. Oklahoma St. @ Tulsa: at 5:00pm

The Ws that will make the loudest statements today are coming up. Next up Cincy, should be a good game!

There are 7 teams in the AAC right now that are 7-3 or better. Not bad.

kyle washington , caupain, and evans is a serious trio. Thats a final four sort of group of players imo, plus gary clark. butler not too shabby as far as physical talent too. fun game going on fs

Thought Tulsa might have a chance seeing Evans was sitting out the game and Forte is banged up. Doesn't seem to be making a difference so far. Ok st up 12

We have great talent but Mick's still on the sidelines. That's a recipe for a one and done NCAA tournament season.

How can one see how our depleated team competed today against Ohio St and say we don't belong in the B1G? Instead Rutgers is taking our spot??? Such BS...

Losing to an unranked team in a sport that is barely involved in the realignment consideration doesn't make any statement at all.

Something tells me it wasn't about basketball.
