Am I one of a kind? Should there be more of me? Do I not post enough to be included?

let's see..we need another poster who takes a prodigious amount of great pics, travels all over, wears a bright wig with orange ornaments, and is on a first-name basis with EDD.....

nope. DK, you IS unique!:D

maybe its just me but each of these guys has matching posting styles... or maybe its the profile pic, locations or team (Stanford & Tenn). one just reminds me of the other

Catcamille & UConnCat

How ironic. I once had a cat named Camille. She was gray and white.

Hey - I read the first post here and maybe a few more and lost interest. Just came back to it because of a reference in another thread and reading it as a whole was a hoot! I am honored to be linked variously to Milford (had a girlfriend from there once) and Phil.
I have no additional insights into the links between posters, but I do have this:
This is an amazing board in that there is not a single poster who annoys me or who I dislike. And every poster that I can think of has posted something that I found really interesting or presented a perspective that added to my appreciation of the team, the university, or the sport we all love, or that just made me laugh. That is truly remarkable for any forum on any topic.
And I think that is a reflection of the dedication and care taken by the board management to keep civility within the discussions of contentious issues.

(Not saying that I have not been annoyed by individual posts, but never by the totality of a posters comments.)

I had a girlfriend from Milford too. Married her. And divorced her.

It's been stumping me who I might be paired up with. Is that a similarly difficult task for everyone? In any case I tentatively suggest arty155 and diggerfoot.

Absolutely. I find that my posts are so brilliant, so insightful, and so well written, that comparing myself to any of the posters on this board is very difficult! And that does not take into consideration my incredible sense of humor, nor the humbleness that is so apparent in all my posts. It really is tough!

ah you are not paying enough attention then. ;)

Definitely has never ventured into the Cesspool where common UConn bonds are forgotten in the shroud of undying partisanship.

If there was a pairing of today's posters with ones from the past, the BY would need one for Budfrog, the BYer who selflessly took one for the team and sacrificed his good name and mental health by predicting a double-digit amount of losses for the 2001-02 Huskies in the preseason BY season's-record predictor poll, an act that guaranteed a perfect season.

That type of heroism is rarely seen today, and I'm not sure there's any solid candidate today on the BY that has that type of willingness to plunge into the oblivion of historical legend, but maybe I can find a CT journalist to take on the job.
