Obviously no one wanted to be THAT FAN to say it, but were we winning every Championship Game we played in?
That 5 point swing really hurt. Not sure about the foul discrepancy, but I will note that every 50/50 call went Michigan’s way. One or two of them our way and the story could have been different. It didn’t feel like an even game. I don’t ever blame the officiating for losses but this seemed lopsided. It was a wonderful season regardless of this loss. Thank you Huskies for the ride.
Not sure we did that, but we were definitely handcuffed by the officiating. Congratulations to Michigan, but this game was ANYTHING but dominant. They "outlasted" UConn, tonight. That's it.We outplayed them.
Dang so this is what losing a national title game feels like. Gotta say it sucks.
Yeah can’t say I love that it was successful. Kentucky tried the same thing and opposite results, so who knows.Michigan being a team of all transfers winning the title is a sign of what’s coming. Game is gone. Very proud of our boys though.
Well we slowed the unbeatable wolverines and stopped them from even hitting 70 points!!!! They didn’t even match our 23 run if wind by double figures!! We showed well.We had absolutely every opportunity to win this one. Michigan was a wagon, and man we gave them one heck of a battle.
What a season. Can’t wait for November already.
Michigan did not play their best game either. It was a hard fought game. Nothing to be ashamed of. UConn is just a great coached team. Almost pulled off the upset.Great season... Michigan was the better team today. Disappointing, but still had a chance despite not playing their best game of the season, against a team, who was generally the best team in the nation all year.
Silas’ offense was just sapped by the injury. That was much more his game at UGA and I expect year 2 we’ll see a guy that is more assertive in getting his own shot. But yeah, the staff is going to have to find guys that can go get their own offense because it ain’t on this roster unfortunately. They did amazing job to pull what they can out of this group. Our 1v1 offensive weaknesses really showed tonight. I hate to look forward to next season because I am going to deathly miss these guys, but we absolutely need a guard who can get in the lane consistently. That isn’t Solo’s game and Silas didn’t show it a ton either. We need a big athletic guard.

Truly one of the worst players in CBB to watch. It’s embarrassing. He needs to be better than that. Every play is just foul baiting. Can’t shoot 31% from the field and say you got robbed but I will say that kid Cadeau made me want to vomit with all his flopping.
Reed just couldn’t quite track it down. We get a hoop there and it is heart in throat time for Michigan. There's another universe where Reed dunks that breakaway steal and Karaban makes that last three, and it wasn't ours today, but we did get a peek into it during this run.
It’s a very tricky model to pull off. May just did a great job of it. I actually think ours is much more sustainable.Yeah can’t say I love that it was successful. Kentucky tried the same thing and opposite results, so who knows.
Half of our starting lineup was minute restricted due to BS calls, we lost every 50/50 ball and didn't even get possession on an obvious tie up and had multiple "turnovers" where we were blatantly hit on the arm. If we get 25% of those calls in our favor we win. We outplayed them. Not sure we did that, but we were definitely handcuffed by the officiating. Congratulations to Michigan, but this game was ANYTHING but dominant. They "outlasted" UConn, tonight. That's it.
