No other options, would've been an awful loss, he's not doing permanent damage to his body.
Because it probably can’t get worse and is just a pain tolerance thing. And solo probably wanted to play hoping to showcase himself for the NBA. Can’t do that if you’re not playing. He wouldn’t be playing if it could jeopardize is future.
Solo was not efficient but he still put up 17 points.
And, yes, he is hurt.
Brutal take, watch the game. He shouldn't have even been playing last night.
I’ve been to a bunch of home games since the injury, he winces after missed and not after makes. He also dribbles rather well with either hand and can dunk with either hand.It doesn’t hurt when making the mid range game look easy so I doubt 5-6 more feet is hurting. If it does then quit forcing long rangers please when you aren’t making them.
Here are his shooting percentages on the season. Game 12 was vs. Butler where he got injured in the first half. Ironically so, it was his best shooting game of the season (8/12 from field, 3/6 from 3).
Some of the FG’s may be more layups I didn’t break it out. But the story here is that he was very subpar before hurting his wrist, and since his injury he’s improved his shot percentages for about a month now. Recently he’s been jacking a ton of shots and the percentages dipped.
So he was terrible to start the year, started picking it up, and is still out performing his average. I think it’s a mix of poor shot selection, too many shots, or just better defense on him as opposed to last year.
But don’t tell me the wrist hurt his shot because that’s statistically not true. It’s all in his head.
