Post game press conference-PC

Wasn’t it the first Providence game? I remember him looking to take the ball to the hoop and being undercut and coming down hard face first on the floor while breaking his fall with his hand.

Then again, theres a chance that i’m totally wrong.
The Big East opener vs Butler, it was on defense, went up to challenge a shot and had his legs taken out from him while in the air and landed on the wrist

Are you really doing the soft thing again?

Yogi Bear is averaging 15, 8 and 2 blocks on 62% shooting. What were you expecting?
Did you see what the original poster wrote - I agreed with it? Somehow we are a bad rebounding team.

I did. Why is that significant? You’re calling him soft. It’s one of your weirder crusades.

YOU said you were disappointed in him. So I’m asking what were you expecting ?

And you’re blaming the guy averaging 8 rebounds a game for our rebounding issues?

Because he is. For all the reasons the original poster mentioned. The kid looks disinterested, plays with no urgency. Do you watch the games? I know you do.

I just disagree. That is also not the reason you were calling the kid soft earlier in the year. And those are not evidence of him being soft. His production says otherwise. I guess you would like his facial expressions to be “tougher”. It’s stupid. The people calling him soft would never actually say it to him. Could you out “tough” Taris Reed at anything in life? Lmao. Talk basketball.

Tarris has been given lots of minutes this year. He’s going to default into numbers as a starting 5. Again refer to the original poster for many of the reasons. No, I wouldn’t tell him that to his face. He’s enormous. I find him to be a really soft basketball player. Unfocused, disinterested, low urgency. He strikes me as a kid that doesn’t love basketball.

So now he’s only good because he plays a lot of minutes, not the other way around? Lmao what a take.

If you watch Taris Reed play basketball and come away with “soft” I question your basketball acumen. He plays aloof and low basketball IQ basketball at times. But rarely is soft his issue.

And saying something about someone in the internet you wouldn’t actually say to them is the definition of soft.

I hate when this fanbase lowers itself to weird statements like that.

This kid went out there clearly injured and in discomfort and attempted to help lift his team. That’s the definition of tough. He isn’t a perfect basketball player. But physicality is one of his strong suits. He just doesn’t process that game at a high speed.
