I guess I don't understand how running offensive sets to get guys wide open / easy shots "doesn't fit the personnel"

It about tempo and efficiency. Unlike, say the 2024 team we aren’t very efficient and with a slow pace, we produce (generally) lower scoring games, giving teams a chance to stay with us. The argument (and I’m not the one making it) is that a faster tempo might be better for this team
