Possible times for Thanksgiving/Friday?

Does anyone know what our possible tip times are if we win or lose tomorrow for Thursday and Friday ? trying to find my openings to watch the game while juggling kids ,family and Thanksgiving. I’m assuming if we keep advancing ,we play the later night tips -which will be perfect -this 2:30pm mid-afternoon junk is ridiculous. Would’ve been great to watch them play tomorrow night in a nice pre-Thanksgiving battle.

Yeah I was trying to look into the schedule yesterday and and there's really not much out there so maybe somebody else who's going or who bought tickets might have some insights.
 
12 or 2:30 according to this…. Here’s to playing at 12 :)

If we win we play at 12, lose 2:30. Lose bracket gets us to laterin the day or evening. Winning keeps us daytime- championship is 12 friday

I’ll be in freaking Disney for this. I selfishly wanted the tournament to have to get relocated to Orlando.
 
Top half gets the better sched it appears.
 
So yer telling me if we win we get the more ridiculous times? Noon on Thursday and 11am Friday??? Serious? Never heard of a situation where the championship is before consolation games. Oh well. Is what it is
 
Hilarious how ESPN thinks every game is going to finish in 2 hours or less to be able to play every game back to back with 2.5 hours between tips when there's a 30 minute warm up! Head bang

In fairness to the complainers, the times are pretty horrible and having the championship game before the consolation game is ridiculous.
 
Games are gonna end up starting an hour or more late with this schedule. I bet those 4:00 game doesn't tip off until 5:30 or later.

Thanksgiving night ESPN has the Egg Bowl. #12 OleMiss vs #25 Miss State. Friday night ESPN has UNC/NCST.

TV drives the schedule. Lots of stuff on Thanksgiving and Friday, college football, NFL, they are probably trying to avoid very bad matchups.

Didn't know that. Makes sense from a revenue perspective, but both those games are far worse TV to me than the championship game of this (no matter who's playing), but I'm in the minority
 
If we get to the championship game who cares what time it is - it means we played damn good basketball.
BTW- knew Izzo was short but holy shit I'm only 5 feet and could almost see eye to with him when I walked by him just now.
 
Think the moral here should be that it's a good thing UConn is no longer in a conference that hitched their boat to ESPN (not the only reason it's good to not be in that dumpster fire conference)

I get it. Too each it's own. I'm in the minority who wants to watch college basketball over the NFL.
College football kills basketball in ratings. Not even close.

Is this a typical bracket?
If you win and then lose, the worst you can do is 4th place.
If you lose and then win, the best you can do is 5th place.
 
as long as we end the week w/ 2 quality wins i'll be happy, and that looks very probable based on the kenpom rankings:

4- Baylor, 20- MSU, 22- UConn, 30- Auburn, 33- Loyola, 49- Cuse, 66- ASU, 109- VCU

let's play out the winner's bracket and consolations just based on these:

Game 1- MSU over Loyola
Game 2- UConn over Auburn
Game 3- Cuse over VCU
Game 4- Baylor over ASU

Semis 5- MSU over UConn
Semis 6- Baylor over Cuse

Finals 7- Baylor over MSU

3rd place- UConn over Cuse

I'll happily take wins over Auburn and Cuse right now. Even if we lose to Auburn i'd honestly be happy with wins over Loyola and ASU since this will be the only hurley v. hurley matchup we ever get. we just need to come away w/ 2 wins.

worst case scenario is losing to auburn and then losing to loyola/msu and then having to play VCU...

Still, making it to an 11:00 final after playing two nooners early games has to be a bit of an advantage over coming in after playing later both days.

I said the same thing to my wife last night when we were walking by them on our way out of dinner. Very short man.
