Could be cool to dominate every arena in NY!Skip Barclays: not a great arena, horrible to get to.
If playing in NYC then play at the Garden

UConn fans set attendance records at the Fenway Bowl.Meanwhile, in Gotham City, UConn is in the process of turning Boston into Storrs North
We took over Fenway that day. Super fun experienceUConn fans set attendance records at the Fenway Bowl.
Skip Barclays? There is a huge subway station literally across from the main entrance. It's supposed to be supremely approachable for NYC residents so sorry if driving.Could be cool to dominate every arena in NY!
We certainly did. That was a fun day at Fenway. We took over Fenway that day. Super fun experience
With Air Force football visiting at the Rent, 11/15’s a less than ideal date for fans reasonably of both UConn hoops and football. Maybe a 12 noon EDT kickoff (10 am MDT), then an evening BYU hoop tipoff at the Garden. Still, potentially impacting UConn attendance at both venues. Or, quite a doubleheader bus trip for some Huskies’ fanatics.Someone told me that this game against BYU in Boston will be happening on Saturday, November 15.
When does the 2025/2026 season tip off? That would be very close to the opening date no?Someone told me that this game against BYU in Boston will be happening on Saturday, November 15. Anyone else hear anything about this?
No clue but kinda silly for BYU to fly out east twice in one month. They’re playing in the Jimmy V classic like us. Could’ve just made it a longer stay with a Saturday game in Boston. Idk lolSomeone told me that this game against BYU in Boston will be happening on Saturday, November 15. Anyone else hear anything about this?
I was thinking the same. But maybe that Dybantsa homecoming game is that important to them. Plus there's money involved which always trumps logic in sports. No clue but kinda silly for BYU to fly out east twice in one month. They’re playing in the Jimmy V classic like us. First day teams can play games is November 3, 2025 - First-contest dates on Mondays approved for DI men’s, women’s basketball - NCAA.org.When does the 2025/2026 season tip off? That would be very close to the opening date no?
Nov. 3rd is a Monday - so really you're porbably looking at 3 "cupcakes" before the 15th.... two weekday games and a weekend game.First day teams can play games is November 3, 2025 - First-contest dates on Mondays approved for DI men’s, women’s basketball - NCAA.org.
So November 15 would be almost 2 weeks after that. UConn would probably be able to play 4 cupcake games before that.

I doubt they'd schedule 5 games between 11/3 and 11/15, that would leave only 6 games to be played between 11/16 and mid December when the Big East schedule startsFirst day teams can play games is November 3, 2025 - First-contest dates on Mondays approved for DI men’s, women’s basketball - NCAA.org.

Hmmmmm. 3 games in 6 days to start the season?? You sure about that??I was thinking Monday, then another weekday game that week, then a weekend game and then 1 more weekday game the next week.
Yeah probably a little aggressive. More like open on a Monday, then a weekend game and then 3rd game on Tuesday if the past few seasons are a good indicator.Hmmmmm. 3 games in 6 days to start the season?? You sure about that??
Being at the Illinois game I thought it was as good an evironment as I’ve been at for a UConn game, including many at MSG. Yes it was the game, but TD is set nicely on the harbor, easy in and out, great concourse. That arena blows.
Play it in Hartford, Storrs, or Provo.
TD does blow. What does that last sentence even mean?Being at the Illinois game I thought it was as good an evironment as I’ve been at for a UConn game, including many at MSG. Yes it was the game, but TD is set nicely on the harbor, easy in and out, great concourse.
Meanwhile Hartford is a giant wasteland mall of an arena imbedded in insurance. No thanks.
The XL Center isn’t gonna marry you broTD does blow. What does that last sentence even mean?
Means the XL center is a soul less morgue and maybe the worst environment I can imagine. And if you think otherwise, it’s just because you can’t see objectively.TD does blow. What does that last sentence even mean?
Anyone playing up XL either worked for Cigna or doesn’t get out of the house much. The XL Center isn’t gonna marry you bro
It's better than that new hockey barn. The XL Center isn’t gonna marry you bro
