Possible leak of new logo

It is absolutely fuggin terrible. We are now Northeastern. They couldn't make a meaner white husky? They blew this. They blew this.
On the road backward to 1-aa.
 
UConn has got to have almost a hundred dollars tied up in the mascot outfit(s). Are they going to change that too? I hope they stick with the ratty, footy-pajama theme.

I hope not... I think the Husky logo on the helmet would look too busy. Helmet (and baseball cap) logos should be clean and simple.

This logo has the same look and feel as the new UGA Bulldog and to some degree the new Cal bear. I think this is it. I am glad they ditched the all white. It allows them to better use the blue/white scheme and it finally looks like a Husky.

Well not if the school is serious about rebranding the UCONN name.I do like the new Husky though.It was time.I don't give a shiot if the dog isn't all white.Change is a good thing.Maybe they'll have the new Husky incorporated on the helmet . Hopefully this is the beginning of bigger and better things for the school.:rolleyes:

I love all of these opinions. That's why a camel is called a horse designed by a committee. We all have our likes and dislikes. Mine? I'm not a fan of the red. I wish the new Husky were white. I want the helmet to keep the block C. Maybe a small logo of Jonathan in the back. Nevertheless, we will all come to love the new logos and unis. This reminds me of when a car company introduces a new body style. Lots of early complaints but it's not too long before the old one you thought you loved so much starts to look dated.

I hate to say it but the designer got the look right. While most people, including myself think it looks like a wolf, if you type "husky dog" into Google images, you can see the shading on the top of most of the dogs heads.

And that's the coloring that other schools' Huskies have. Our Husky has been all white ever since Jonathan II. Penfield's tweak removing the dark fur at the top of the head is much better, looks like a UCONN husky instead of some other husky.

Should have gone with the white one for consistency.
 
I like it a lot..great job..we needed a change. I still love the block C on the helmet and hope it stays....but I would be okay with the new logo on the helmet.

Looking forward to buying new gear...I got tired of scouring sites trying to find shirts without the old cute puppy dog logo.

Cannot believe most here like what they chose. Most Who have seen this wish it was all white. (Except you BY homers)

I could not be more happy with this new UCONN logo. I think it's awesome, it's aggressive.

I have a husky. He's almost 3 years old. For all you people saying "It looks to much like a Wolf" , NEWS FLASH!!!!!! Huskies look like Wolves! Whenever I walk ,my husky or take him to new parks, I always get " Oh my God, your dog looks like a Wolf, what breed is he?" , I then proudly say.. ..... He's a Husky.

What people don't realize is the now old husky logo didn't really even look like a real Siberian Husky, it looked more like the head of an American Eskimo dog (Google it ).

I understand some people wanted to keep the all White Husky, but I love the navy blue shaded head. Looks great, amazing job by Nike and UCONN. This new logo and new uniforms will help us big time with recruiting the new generation, just watch. Recruits don't come to UCONN Football for the traditional look. We're not Penn State or Notre Dame or USC. So we need to get with the times.

Sorry for the rant.... Lol... Go UCONN
