Someone has their priorities in massive disarray blasting an alum announcer so much who is just doing their job. If you don’t like him, mute him. It’s really quite easy.Sorry Mrs. Marshall

See the Polls Vitale is on the bottom so it seems a majority don't care for him.Or, some people just like what they like?
His love affair with Duke and the ACC just got ridiculous that nobody could take him seriously anymore.Vitale was great,.... until ~1989 or so, when he started becoming a caricature of what he had been, a high energy, enthusiastic announcer. As time went on it got more and more ridiculous. By the early 2000's he was too far gone.
Again, I answered for myself. Not trying to convince you…See the Polls Vitale is on the bottom so it seems a majority don't care for him.
Lingerie on the deck!ONIONS!
Disagree. Jackson is really good when he’s paired with a play-by-play announcer who’s not a Gus Johnson or John Fanta type. Not these guys doing the game tonight
Was wondering what happened to him, he was a staple going back to the WTNH 8 broadcastsRon is a commercial real estate broker up here in Boston. We do some business with his company and I always enjoy talking hoops with him. I think he just got tired of trying to call games with the travel while doing his day job. He's probably in his late 60s now and just didn't want to do it any more even though he said he liked it because it kept him connected to the game.
After a big block... DO NOT GO IN THEREKevin Harlan’s call for the NCAA tourney puts him in the GOAT conversation.
I like the guy who sounds like Jay Bilas but isn't actually Jay Bilas.
Most iconic UConn onions ever
I used to like Gus Johnson, but he's not the announcer he used to be. I sure hope he's not working tonight's game. He makes bizarre statements, references players from the last century, and, to me at this point, is unlistenable.
UCFan is right though, Donny is insufferable. "Just doing their job"... very poorly, and we are within our rights to acknowledge that. Seems like your only rebuttal is pearl clutching that he's an alum and that somehow makes him off limits? Fanta's talent and enthusiasm is wasted on him, pains me how often they get paired together. I'm all good on the guy that just spouts endless platitudes all game for the sake of hearing himself talk. Sometimes I really wonder if he's watching the same game I am.Someone has their priorities in massive disarray blasting an alum announcer so much who is just doing their job. According to AI, you are correct. I'll edit my post and vote. Thanks!I believe Dickie V was the first to sat that, Bilas is too much of a stiff to do that.
Veeerry low bar there. So far 16 people and counting. He is clearly much more enjoyed than Dookie V.

That was pretty funny.I agree about Gus not being what he used to be. Unfortunately, he's doing tonight's game again with Jim Jackson and Allison Williams who thought she was at the BIG10 tourney yesterday.
He works the B10 semis/finalsWhy isn't Bill Raftery covering the Big East championship game?
I really hope that's his choice and not the network.
i voted for everyone and then I voted for the option that said none of the above.Roll call: who voted for everyone, just because they could?
