The red outline is only used when UCONN is written underneath. I LOVE this new logo. Well done Nike and well done UCONN.

This is the other problem, if the intent was consistency. They succeeded in solving the use of red problem we've had over the years. Why halfassit by only using it part-time?

Instead of taking a sample of 10 people on the boneyard, why don't you read the Facebook page toget a better sense of the overall reaction.

People like to b*tch on Facebook. They b*tch about their friends, their lovers, their political parties, their laws, their taxes, their sports teams, other people's sports teams, etc.

The moral of the story is, if you're waiting for a product which is gonna make everybody on Facebook happy... uhh... yeah. Don't.

Except that this pic is a Polar Bear face and not a polar bear head. The logo is a head.

Put another way...how do the ears in your pic compare with the ears on our logo?

I still don't know what crawled up your ass. I didn't bash the logo, i simply said people were going to be pissed and apparently a lot of people are in fact pissed.

People would still be pissed if the logo were an all-white husky. It would still look too wolf-like to them. If you're gauging the response by Facebook, that is. Seems to be the main gripe there - that and the fact that they changed it, period.
