Now that we've had a full night to think about it... what do you think?

Looks great to me, thus I love it. Can't see any reason for complaints. We were due for a makeover.

I wish our Husky retained more of our traditional look.

I think it looks generic and wish we just had redone our current logo.

Rather than the poll as configured, I'd like to see a poll on all the sports forums showing the current logo, the new with blue, and the white one someone proposed and take a vote on those.

Years ago, the Jonathan suit made him look like a bear, and little kids and even some of their uninformed parents called him a bear.

It was better than I was expecting to be sure. I actually think if you take out the red outlining that it would actually look really good, but I don't mind it as it is.

It looks like We're NikeU-Storrs now. Our hoops unis were unique, now they're similar to the other Nike schools - and now the logo - it's cut from the same cloth as the Oregon State and Cal logos. We used to have an individual design identity - no mas.

More like the new Quebec Nordiques logo in the 1990s. The UConn Nordiques. Even that Nordiques logo is better and still sucked.

My initial point was its a no win situation, because people are going to be pissed regardless.

I think the key word in your post is "uninformed". Also likely contributing to a bear-like look would be the fact that dogs don't stand on their hind legs like the mascot does, and bears do.
