Good defenders like Nika play extremely physical off the ball where you aren't as likely to pick up fouls and bump on all screens. The physical play wears out the shooter even though it might not look like they are being guarded so close with the ball. ND has two girls that are taller and that match up will be a great test to see how much the intensity of the UConn defense effects the recovery of the ND bigs.
Overall I like UConn to beat ND. I do think this game will be the test UConn needs before going to South Caroline and playing them. A big win against ND will show them (and us) that they can play against anyone regardless of the roster make up.
