Fair enough. Her production has plummeted from what she did at Wisconsin, playing against a slate of good Big 10 teams. Some transfers have come to UConn and thrived, some have not.

Haven't really followed, but her former running mate Howell has been a bit up and down thus far at Washington.

Speaking of which, fans were pretty excited about Brynn McGaughy at UW. Against a weak schedule, her production has been fairly limited. She shows signs of having skills, but I was expecting much more than 5 1/2 points shooting below 40% against this level of competition.

Right? I thought she was going to a stacked roster, and was going to get lost in the shuffle. But she's carved out a role as the first guard off UConn's bench and backup PG. I think she's doing good for UConn.

To contribute to your thread... this might be a little unfair since she's a frosh, but Addie Deal. I consumed a lot of preseason Iowa media and it seemed like she had a ton of hype. Tons of questions about her to the coaches and online every raved about her. She must have a sizeable fan base that created the hype. I was anticipating more

Agreed about Deal (and Heckel). I think fans were hyped since she was the first high ranked recruit since CC and came in with overblown expectations.

Adding in Ava Heiden for outperforming expectations. She had good moments as a frosh but is looking like a breakout player

Bella Hays might follow that route. From the little bit of Iowa I've watched this year she's shown potential. She probably won't play a lot, but maybe next year she'll make a big leap.
