Would be interesting to see where Whitehorn ends up. She's from the Detroit area like Gabby Elliott who also transferred out from Clemson. Believe they played together in high school, but could have that wrong.Per Talia Goodman -
- Miami (FL)‘s Ally Stedman has entered the transfer portal
- Clemson’s Ruby Whitehorn has entered the transfer portal - #15 recruit in 2022, per ESPN -- highest rated recruit in program history. Whitehorn averaged 12.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game this season.
The AD at Clemson better get a move on or the new coach is going to have an empty locker room.Would be interesting to see where Whitehorn ends up. And to answer your question, yes, both Elliott and Whitehorn played at Detroit Edison. So could Michigan State be a potential destination?
Smikle was Rutgers' leading scorer in the first half of the season and then, if memory serves, was suspended for some kind of disciplinary issue and that was that. So this isn't unexpected. Still, Rutgers can hardly have an exodus of talent; really, any bodies at this point. Smikle is from Long Island. Also from Talia Goodman:
Kaylene Smikle has entered the portal out of Rutgers too.
I thought she was out because of a medical issue? I know we have a poster who is a Rutgers fan, but they may be avoiding this page...Smikle was Rutgers' leading scorer in the first half of the season and then, if memory serves, was suspended for some kind of disciplinary issue and that was that. . I do regret to say I don't really keep up with Rutger's much, except in the Big Ten Tournament when Destiny Adams had a day.
Who had this on their bingo card?

Eh. Hate to lose her, but I saw the writing on the wall when she was out, she was with the team.I thought she was out because of a medical issue? Okay, I saw she won Pennsylvania's Gatorade player of the year, is listed as being from Farmington, NY on the Rutger's roster, but went to Westtown High School. So, I think I'm still confused haha
That's what I came to the conclusion of while studying her bio page on the Arkansas website.Really like Saylor. Maybe she graduated and is going somewhere else for grad degree. She probably has two years left of eligibility.
When she left I made the prediction that Arkansas wasn't going to be her last stop. Quite a few of our recent transferees, especially those that leave quickly, seem to end up transferring more than once. Not too surprised. Few of the players who have left have had great careers.
And Arkansas has 3 straight seasons with losing SEC record + 2 of their based players are gone (Daniels graduating & Scott transferring).
I made it a point to take a look at a few Arkansas games on ESPN+ because of her becoming a top SEC rebounder. I was happy watching her because she seemed to be really, really happy playing there and especially seemed to like Coach Neighbors. Curious to know her reason for leaving...Really like Saylor. Todays wrap up -
True and makes it easier to see how many players are leaving the same school, like 5 players possibly leaving Xavier.I appreciate that she groups the teams by conference and puts the P6 conferences first. Very easy to read and find the info I want!
