Those poor kids must be frustrated that the University can't bring in a top notch coach and staff. It's always some leftover or in Diaco's case a wannabe. The university has never been able to land a "name" head coach who can up the talent level. They deserve better.

I am sorry but this is just dumb. We will never get a big time established football coach like Saban. I am not fully on board with Edsall but Who do you think we should get?

Dude:. What is your problem? This is the third head coach we've hired as a I-A program. Two had good track records in the northeast, and one was a Broyles award winner. These are not kids who were recruited by Nick Saban and are now playing for Greg Robinson. These are kids, however, who 100% quit on their old coaches with over a month to go in the season. Why do they deserve better?

More importantly, why are you throwing third parties under the bus because of your own frustration with the hire?

And still the university has not given the players a head coach and staff capable of bringing them to the next level. Louisville did. Pitt did. BC did. Syracuse did. WVU did. Even Rutgers did. Houston just about did and probably will. But not good ole UConn. Lets hire the guy that bailed because we can't come up with the cash for anything better.

Which head coach brought BC to the next level?

Alter your meds. You know how you know if a coach like Dino Barber is going to be Steve Kragthorpe or Charley Strong, in Louisville's case -- you give him the reigns and see what happens. The thought that RU and BC and Syracuse are making hires on a different level than this one --or Diaco's, which was a good move on paper that didn't work -- is just not accurate.

Feel free to provide facts every once in a while. You know, just to mix it up a little.

What happens to your assumptions if the players end up loving the change? Will we see a "mea culpa" from you? Feel free to vent, since it is an internet forum. But don't just make s#!t up. It's unbecoming...
