Play of the Game - Seton Hall

.-.
Slim pickings but Aubrey hitting the ground to get a loose ball and push it to Evina. I guess. Damn. I had 8 plays off the top of my head in the Marquette game

Come on folks. As they say, "enjoy the journey.....".
Are we going to just show up in San Antonio ready to win a NC?
(BTW could coach give some nicked up people an easy night Friday and get some folks needing minutes extra minutes? Can we get CW off the schneid?)

Nika's 3-pointer with about 13 minutes left. It put us up 40-37, and we wouldn't relinquish the lead. It was also our first made 3-pointer of the night, and Paige found the range after that. Nika's shot triggered a 33-12 run the rest of the way.

Pretty fast break pass and finish... Muhl to Buekers at about 5:25 in the 1st.

Pretty slim pickings in this one but I'll agree with Aubrey going to the floor and getting the ball to start a run out.

That's what they call a happy ending.

A great hustle play worthy of note. An observation though... "Back in the day", that would have 100% been called a travel as she slid/rolled across the floor. I don't want to hijack Nan's thread so I'll start "The Travel and The Carry" else where.

I rewatched the game and UCONN was down 11 partway thru Q2. SHU was up 21-10 at the 8:00 mark 2 minutes into the quarter. UCONN then outscored them 60-28 for the rest of the game. UCONN cut the lead to 3 on 2 buckets by Paige and 2 by Aaliyah.

Then it was tight till the half and for the first 6 minutes or so of Q3. Then a pair of baskets by ONO followed by Nika's 3, and it was gas pedal down and full speed ahead for the rest of the game.

I think the best play was Evina's step thru basket, but Nika may have ignited the final push so how about both?!!

The play that "opened the flood gates." :D

Evina's step through was nice; Paige between two defenders and up sweet; but Nika's three put us ahead and we never looked back. Gets my top choice.
