This is an absolute must win for UConn. Adams experience will mean everything here.

Turning pro: Dillon Brooks, Jordan Bell, Tyler Dorsey
Returning: Nobody

With Brooks, Bell and Dorsey all leaving early and Chris Boucher and Dylan Ennis having graduated, Dana Altman’s top five scorers are off to new pastures, and the Ducks look set for a rebuilding year. Grad transfer Elijah Brown (New Mexico) will pair with Payton Pritchard in the backcourt, but there’s not a ton else to get excited about until Oregon can replenish the cupboard. The Ducks took a big hit with the trio of early departures, all of whom were justified in their choices, but leave gaping holes just the same. A Final Four repeat is far fetched for now.
Was just going to ask this. Should be a win for the good guys.

Kind of interesting how they seeded the brackets. Duke and UNC headlining their brackets was always a given, but the 2-3 seeds are confusing. In both cases the presumptive 2nd seed was better last season and presumptive 3rd seed will be better this upcoming season.

The 2 and 3 seeds are basically interchangeable as they'll theoretically face each other in the second round. It'd be a much bigger issue if they screwed up the 3/4 seeds.

It wouldn't have really been an issue how they seeded the brackets short of overloading 1 section. Tournament is basically 2 Maui fields anyways so you're practically guaranteed to face a really good team in the 2nd round.

Oregon, MSU, and then UNC is anything but "meh", but to each their own

You'll have to remember that tens is the same guy who described our home and home with Arizona as a "step in the right direction." He's a hard please.

As @HawkHusky points out, there is plenty of redundancy on the other side of the bracket as well, and while it's probably a little deeper than our side of the bracket, save for Duke and maybe Florida there is really nobody that's a guaranteed top 25 team. Win against a beatable Oregon squad and we're looking at a match-up with a top ten Michigan State team for the chance to play the defending champs. (Though historically Michigan State is the type of program to around and lose to Georgetown in their opener).

Time to make Kenny Wooten wish he was never born  . But seriously, it will be interesting to see the matchup with him and how it plays out. No one really knows what the lineups will be for either team. Diarra?

To go to a place like Oregon and play basketball, it's something special. I don't even know how to explain it, because it's so overwhelming. I try to stay open-minded, about playing tournaments in other places, but Oregon is Oregon. I try to stay open-minded about things, and not rush myself into a Thanksgiving tournament again. But Oregon is hard to pass up. I mean, it's Oregon.

9pm Eastern for Game 1 of the PK80. Relegated to ESPNU but regular ESPN can show Michigan St. vs. DePaul after us...
