Commented in other thread how ugly, yet as bad as shooting is Cincy can get the ball, and that can always get you a chance to win. They are both polar opposite of us yet I can't say that we would torch either of them because of our no post game.

I was thinking about how this Pitt team beat Stanford by 21 ........I know it means little but still!

Living here I've seen a number of Pitt games this season and they're actually pretty decent. Dixon is coaching more ball movement this year to play in ACC. I guess Pitt wanted to play BE ball tonight and failed miserably. It's hard to go 13:48 w/o a single field goal. Patterson has been money this year - shocking he missed both FTs in last minute.

When you are officiating a Pitt game and the other team only has 3 free throws, you are missing something.

Just wondering if Pitt will have a tougher time getting in the tourney from the ACC. If they don't beat SU, Duke or NC where is the SOS and big wins? Our conference stinks but we already beat Florida. Gonna be perenially easier from our conference with a strong OOC because we are not afraid to schedule.

Leaving opponents aside, they'll have a tougher time based on style of play alone. JD will have to recruit different types of players to thrive in the ACC game. ACC refs aren't going to let you throw around Duke and UNC guys.
