Santana has been nominated several times. When my daughter played AAU ball in middle school she had a friend who loved this song . She sang it out loud, in the back of my truck after games or practice, jubilantly, and her joy was infectious!

The Doors - loved many of their songs. But one that always haunts me is "Ships With Sails"- its simply beautiful and mesmerizing. This song is from an album done by Robbie Kreiger, John Densmore, and Ray Manzarek after the death of Jim Morrison. The album was entitled "Other Voices".

Michael Franks - "It's Just Like Key Largo, Melvin Douglas and Garbo, Bogey and Lauren BaCall."
Pure class, pops, crackles, and all:

Joe Jackson - loved how he paid tribute to Glenn Miller's "Tuxedo Junction".
This one wins it as far as being my favorite Joe J. song:

Really liked her “Hejira”and “Hissing of Summer Lawns” albums.

Yea, you bet - loved Hissing of Summer Lawns, Refuge of the Roads, All I Want, California, Car on a Hill, Help Me etc - so many...it was mighty tough to pick one.
