yup - she had 3 fouls and so she sat. She's back and appears to have more flow to her game. Second half is fun to watch. If this keeps up, it's going to be a very interesting - and enjoyable season

Phoenix cannot play perimeter defense and DT, Bonner, Dupree and Prahalis are a combined 9 of 38. Looks like they are going to be a perimeter team. BG seems to be the last option on offense.

Phoenix cut the deficit to 12 on a couple of 3s of which a few were donated by Bonner and Diana, and then appears to become deflated when Dee got that bogus call. Score back up to +20

Penny Taylor will solve most of Phoenix's problems when she gets back - she's a legitimate point-forward who the team will be able to run the offense through.

The Mercury's other major problem, though, is that Corey Gaines can't coach.

Didn't get to make it. No good seats were left when I looked. So I stayed home and tuned in. Super bummed.

Was happy to see BG have a big second half (15 points, 7 rebounds, two dunks). That first quarter she was obviously a bit nervous. EDD had the advantage having played a WNBA game already. Phoenix needs to recognize who should be taking the most shots, and its not Bonner (25%) and Dupree (35%).

BG's shooting % was right on par with her NCAA % at 63.6%. Houston was also effective (3-4).

Not sure you can compare the Japan national team to a WNBA team. This was BG's first WNBA game.
