Nonsense.

He's a 2016 recruit - you don't even know who he'll be playing with so projecting the way you are is a waste of time.

Kid's a true point guard.

Who else do we have now or coming in that won't be here in '16 besides possibly Danny?

I don't agree with what the other guy said, but this reasoning isn't really spot on either.

I get that it's very likely he will end up at Memphis, but that is not what that tweet means.
I think Grant clarified that and I don't think Fisher goes to Memphis. Never know though Fisher is really close with Martin and Marahall. As Memphis fan I am still paranoid with team Thad turning Memphis kids away from Memphis.

If he ends up signing somewhere else, I'll post a photo of Beaker from The Muppets. Can't do it while we are in the running for him though. Bad recruiting mojo.
Yes, especially if we lose him to UCF. He may have family there.

JAYLEN FISHER – 6’1 – POINT GUARD – BOLTON – TEAM THAD – 2016
Fisher commands his gears well on the blow-by and is a fine facilitator and distributor below the arc in the half-court. While his shot isn’t polished, he is confident in hitting off the pull-up and can score in traffic off of either hand that is best fit. The Bolton product isn’t lackluster in defending the basketball as he reads the passing lanes and can heat up the rock on the perimeter. With a good body on him, Fisher looks destined for the high-major realm and a cusp top-100 guy in this year’s rising senior crop.

No surprise here, but Fisher has cut his list down to six and no UConn.

He would've been playing behind two studs in Adams and Gilbert. I think it makes perfect sense to cut UConn from his list.

For what it's worth, his last four CB picks are UNLV, all since yesterday.

Hoping he picks Memphis. This conference needs all the help it can get.

Yeah, there was one thread over on the Memphis 247 board about a week ago that had a tweet from somebody saying that Fisher wasn't going to pick Memphis because Pastner was the coach. Either way, if his top two were Memphis and UNLV, he'd be walking into a situation where there is no guarantee that the head coach who recruited him would be there to coach his freshman year.

Would be cool if he and Monk ended up at Arkansas but that appears unlikely.

Wow Dave Rice gets another very good player he will do nothing with. Congrats to UNLV
Odds are Rice won't be around to see him play. I know he has big support from the Findlay family but his repeatedly mediocre seasons are wearing thin.

If Memphis gets Charlie Moore they'll be ok, but they got tough comp for him as well.

Not quite sure what they are waiting for but my best guess would be that he had his hands in on some good recruits and the relationship was too solid to take a chance by firing him. Oh well good for the rest of college basketball as none will get much better and some will transfer after 15-16.

I know these guys are teenagers, but it'll never cease to amaze me how clowns like Rice can continue to so many top recruits.

Yup. I still think there's like a 50% chance Fisher finishes his career with Memphis.
