Just imagine if Purvis AND Hamilton both return, a long shot I know but come on, that's a LOADED 2016 lineup, top 5 preseason caliber.
More likely that neither return than both, though.

Enoch
Facey
Larrier
Diallo
Adams

Gilbert
Jackson
Cassell
Durham
Diarra

This would be okay with me too.

247 updates their class rankings as commits happen. UConn has the #3 class right now.
If they included transfers eligible for that year (Larrier), Id have to imagine we'd be #1

Lol No.1? Kentucky would have 5 bench players as good as anyone we can start. Let's not get ahead of ourselves here he is a nice recruit but 200lbs at 6-11. He needs to get way stronger to even contribute.

They're also hard commits on 247. It's probably some technicality they enact and I definitely wouldn't worry about it.

Perhaps we should be filling more recruiting threads with pizza discussion if this is what happens, no?
Go figure, the day after mentioning how I wasn't surprised to see the thread turn into one about food, lo and behold, a commitment. I usually check the Yard out a few times during the day, but today I was in an all morning session and had to catch up on some work stuff in the afternoon, followed by a happy hour. It seems like the last few verbals took place after similar crazy days. I'm not complaining. Maybe I need to stay away from the board for more extended periods of time. :)

Well if you would look at the rankings you would see we are already ahead of Kentucky for 2016... I am not saying that we will remain up there, but for now, yes I believe we would be number 1 if Larrier were factored into the equation.

I'm to lazy to go back and read this entire thread, was Ricky Moore the lead man here?

This is crazy I was talking to my brother on the phone and looking through stuff on the BY and also work related emails. Went to the BY nothing there but the usual then email at my company then Hartford Courant when I yelled out "Holy " and my brother said what? I saw the article on the Courant before I went back to the BY and was elated - wow this is great news and I like his game.

Trying to tell my brother who he plays and looks like and I blurted out "a HS young Charles Smith" from Harding/Pitt. Love his game

Wow! I just watched some video of JD and he's one heck of an offensive player. He looks like close to a complete offensive player about to score in the paint, in transition, can put the ball on the floor and knock down Js. A good Husky comparison is Donyell. He looks a tad more athletic than Donyell. He does need to hit the weights. He'll struggle with getting pushed under the basket by bigger and stronger bigs. He'll make up for some of it with his length. He went up against a bigger big in Tony Bradley who seemed to abuse him in the paint when he got the ball and was able to get a good angle on JD. I'm sure he'll be fine after a couple years working hard in the weight room and working on his foot work and defensive positioning.

He definitely looked every bit of hit top 30 ranking.

KO has really done an unbelievable job recruiting the past 6 months. It appears he's been able to overcome the AAC Albatross. I'm one who has been concerned about the impact our conference might have on recruiting, but I never doubted KO's ability and hard work on the recruiting front. Huge props to him and his staff. I couldn't be prouder of KO and our program. Big East or no Big East, we have a lot to be excited about and I would not be shocked to see another NC or two over the next few years.

Agreed. Kentucky also had a lot more talent on their bench and in their starting five the year we beat them in the National Championship. Remember that?

Durham looked like the far superior prospect to me. Bradley got easy layups when he got position but he looks slow and robotic. Durham showed off a pretty full repertoire of offensive skills and he blocked Bradley 7 times. Durham looks like could have a seriously good faceup game in college.

I agree that Durham is the better prospect, but Bradley is the better center prospect. I'd love to bring in a true center who doesn't need to gain 30 pounds.

With Durham, what really impresses me is his hands, his footwork, and his finishing. I think he's going to be a really outstanding player. The play he makes at 1:10 is incredibly for a guy his size, and he never looks out of control with the ball.

He looks like a 5 star to me, can't remember the last guy we brought in at that height who could handle like that. I've resigned myself to us never getting a beefy center coming into college with post moves. We are going to be crazy athletic next year with players like Durham, Larrier, Adams, Gilbert, Diarra, and hopefully Diallo.
