Download the spreadsheet here.

Despite the very slow start again and Azzi's offensive impotence until late, I somehow never felt that USC was going to catch up after the first quarter. There were more than one occasion that I remarked on the defensive chemistry and watching Kaitllyn's play just made me feel good. I haven't seen UCLA play since the Caymans but we've seen our ladies render 2 very good centers insignificant to the outcomes of their games. That also makes me feel good. ;^)

BTW, the latest spreadsheet contains a bonus tab comparing Kaitlyn's last 10 games with her first 28. Verrrrry interesting!

BTW redux. By my calculations, Paige can still reach 50-40-90 by draining 14 FT without a miss in the next 2 games.

Here's the rate ratings. Note that those not playing (Cheli, Caroline) have been declared ineligible until the end of the season.

Most fascinating stat in this bunch is Strong as your steals leader. She has solid competition from several really good guards, and that says a lot about her nimble (for a big, especially) hands, as well as her instincts. She's just a fabulously instinctual player, and that stat shows it.

Kaitlyn is, like Paige, a gamer and a winner. If she’s as determined to win in the next game, she adds a new dimension to the team. Having to defend 5 legitimate scorers will mess up some defensive game plans
