Anyone tune in?

First episode was definitely entertaining and started to warm me up. The second episode is available now and, whoa, I'm locked in. Great cast, especially Eva Green. Extended jaw-dropping went down during episode two.

Reviews are off the charts. I am not a big horror fan myself though, so I don't know if I will commit.

I watched the first episode, but haven't watched the second episode yet. I thought the first episode was OK. I liked the main characters with the exception of the Dr. Frankenstein character. I thought that aspect was a bit weak, but I enjoyed the show enough to give the second episode a shot. Glad to hear you thought the second episode was an improvement.

You definitely need to watch the 2nd. Curious to hear your thoughts after that.

The Dorian Grey scene with the Pro ,might be the biggest turn-off ever.
That was gross.
Are they missing any Victorian era literary characters.
I'm sure Sherlock will show up in an future episode.

I enjoyed the second episode better than the pilot episode. In particular, I thought the seance scene was excellent. The show sort of feels a bit like the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen with Dr. Frankenstein in the Dr. Jekyll role, Dorian Gray in the Dorian Gray role and Josh Hartnett's character in the Allan Quartermaine role. I'll probably watch the third episode to see if things continue to pick up.

.-.
Reviving a dead thread for the second season...

The show was up and down in the first season - mostly up, but not enough to where I was actually looking forward to the second season.

But now...I'm three episodes into the second season and it's just flat terrific.

Agreed, 1st season was "okay", but the second season is nailing it so far.

Just got caught up. Season 1 was good but Season 2 has been wayyyyyyyyyyy better. Love the introduction of Madame Kali and her daughters.

My wife loves this stuff. I'm a casual watcher. If I miss one I'm okay. But this show is entertaining.
