Paul Pasquloni

He'll get picked up somewhere else after the season. He's still a pretty good NFL defensive coach

No offense, but how does an NFL team with a depleted staff and an interim HC fire multiple coaches. Who’s looking to join that staff for 3 months before getting fired?

The young assistants are given an opportunity to work up and show their worth sometimes. Basically the “grad assistants” of the NFL

The best assistants get poached by up-and-coming college football teams

Is out of work again

They just have gotten in an argument.

He'll be 74 before next season. Maybe he will retire.
He probably will. Paul a nice man and a terrific football coach, especially on field and teaching.

Most likely the interim wanted either a different scheme or to play different players. Those 2 said no. This is our best unit.

If for no other reason, you have admit it's commendable that a man, 74 yrs old, who probably doesn't have big financial concerns, is still pursuing his passion and able to. And yes, I say that knowing full well his history at UConn.

Always wondered what would have happened if Coach P had won that game against Michigan at home? I think they lost by 3.

Doesn't he have a kid to put through school?
Yes, his daughter is still in school. My sense is they can handle the tuition. Not an extravagant guy - probably still has his first communion and grass cutting money stuffed in a sock.

From the ESPN article listed above.

Defensive assistant Bobby Maffei and interim defensive coordinator Al Holcomb will help with the defensive backs for the Panthers, while Don Johnson and assistant coach Terrance Knighton will coach the defensive linemen.

Blast from the past. I grew up with this kid in Trumbull and didn’t even know he was involved in coaching.
