At media day Geno said that Yanna is "on hold", what ever that means.Does anyone know what the status of Ayanna's shoulder is? I saw somewhere that there was an update, but I didn't get a chance to read it and now I can't find it.
The shoulder is a poorly designed joint. There are many things that can happen when someone "bangs" it.
So while it's discouraging to know that she's been in a sling for a couple of weeks, at least we haven't heard that she needs (or has had) surgery.
I finally got surgery (not fun, to put it mildly) when my worse one was popping out in my sleep.Things can happens without contact too. Suffered a dislocation myself just going up for a rebound with no one around me while in highschool. Poorly designed joint, is putting it mildly if you ask me.![]()
Golly you poorly designed people are hard to please. The range of motion of the arm, which I suspect you find useful, gives us all sorts of opportunities to injure the shoulder. I wouldn't have it any other way.I finally got surgery (not fun, to put it mildly) when my worse one was popping out in my sleep.
I've designed a lot of stuff, some brilliant, some downright embarrassing, none as bad as a shoulder joint.![]()

Has anyone heard of, or seen anything related to Ayanna's recovery?
I believe that you mean an exhibition game, not a scrimmage. Two completely different types of game. There’s a scrimmage tomorrow. Hopefully we’ll find something out
