While you may not have gotten that feeling, Pat did indeed do the interview with the intent of the airing being to inspire others and bring attention to the disease. Reports that I've heard from someone who was there is that there was alot of time spent interviewing, but once ABC got done hacking it up and squeezing it into Michael Jackson story (yet again), there was alot left to be desired from those that wanted to hear more about the disease. Typical t.v. stuff. It's all about the ratings. If you recall, there was a segment where they showed Pat playing the games, but that was a very brief portion of what was aired. I would be willing to bet they spent alot more time than what was aired talking about the games and other things that Pat is doing to fight the disease. Meantime, the airing started with alot of clips on the history of TN. That was all a bunch of stuff they dug out of the archives, so no way did Pat have anything to do with that.
