The basketball decision that should have been questioned was choosing PC to begin with. Realizing that it is not a place to build a basketball career is pretty much a no-brainer.

Well, actually Lenny Wilkens, Jimmy Walker, Otis Thorpe, John Thompson, Kevin Stacom, Michael Smith, God Shammgod, Mike Riordan, Eric Murdock, Joe Hassett, Ryan Gomes, Johnny Egan, Billy Donovan, Ernie Digregorio, Austin Croshere, Bryce Cotton, and Marvin Barnes, Eric Williams, and Dickey Simpkins would likely disagree with you:)

Bryce Cotton went to PC in this millennium.

Yeah, you can add Seth Curry to that list as well. Played a ton at Liberty his Freshman year and then took a significant cut in PT to transfer to Duke. It's a totally different world playing for PC and playing for Kansas or the likes.

And Tarik Black transferred to Kansas. He probably didn't think he was going to be getting a lot of minutes at Kansas.

God, could you imagine if this was the list of players we bragged about?

Wasn't Eric Williams the star of that NBA Housewives reality tv show?

This kid is getting way too much attention and he sounds like he may be mentally fragile. Time to move on.

He was going to get all the playing time he wanted at PC next season. He was literally the only center on the roster.

Makes me believe this kid is mentally soft is not up to the challenge of being the man.

How many of those names played for PC after this kid was born? The few who who make that list did not accomplish much much in the NBA (the jury is still out on Cotton but I doubt he'll end up earning starters minutes on a playoff caliber team at any point in his career). Better yet, how many tournament games has PC won since this kid was old enough to walk and talk?

If you want to make believe that what the program has been over the past not quite twenty seasons is anything but a joke (for a school that claims to be a high major program) go ahead. Don't expect anyone with a brain to buy it.

He was playing with Kris Dunn - he had no chance at being the man.

Perhaps he simply did not like attending Providence College.

Yikes, we don't want Oriakhitis to spread back into the locker room....

He must have really disliked Providence College to pass up a season with an NBA point guard who had elite floor vision.

If your a big and don't get the relationship between your stats and playing with an elite PG,you're getting bad advice.
Check Emeka's stats his last healthy year in Washington with Wall ,and without.
You wouldn't believe he was the same guy.
Big's can become stars on the penetrate and dish ,
Also their are more offensive RB opportunities because your man has to be aware of
the PG putting him in a bad rebounding position.
Or
Maybe the OP brothers were not as loose as the SJ's at Prep.

No idea why people want to speculate about this kid's emotional health or future. He isn't interested in coming here, cool. Good luck to him wherever he ends up. I don't need to dissect every rejection I get from a girl at the bar. Move on, plenty of fish in the sea.
