Parity this year

Louisville, fresh off their first loss (to UR Alabama) are currently losing to a 2-3 Liberty team who is coming off a loss to Gonzaga, 102 - 59. Score after end of 3rd qtr is 52 -46 Liberty.
Yikes. Does Walz’s seat get a bit hot if they start spiraling now?

I was watching that game. Casual Oregon Ducks fan here. Santa Clara was on FIRE!! They just could not miss, especially from deep. 16 three pointers made. The Ducks could not make shots. I think was the worst loss for Coach Graves since they lost to UConn back in 2017-18 range.
I'm certainly enjoying seeing Pao Pao in the Garnet and Black. She is terrific.

Several undefeateds will go down today:

#3 Colorado (6-0) vs #10 NC State (6-0)

UR Arkansas (6-0) vs UR Marquette (5-0)

NC State takes a 16 point lead after the 1st quarter and never looked back defeating Colorado by 18.

KSU defeats NC by 7 - NC scored 56 points in the loss.

Marquette outscores Arkansas 46 - 27 in the first half and cruise to a 16 point win.

Other teams leaving the undefeated list today:

Cal loses by 14 to (5-1) Texas A&M

Alabama loses by 10 to (6-1) Gonzaga

#23 WSU goes down by 11 to (4-2) Green Bay

Other games of note:

#7 LSU hangs on to win by 3 points over UR Virginia

#9 VT by 6 points over UR Tulane

#19 Tennessee by 3 over #22 Oklahoma

#21 Indiana by 9 over Princeton

Syracuse by 12 over Iowa State (now 2-3 on the season)

Cincy by 24 over Kentucky (now 2-5 on the season)Ouch!

Missouri loses to (2-2) Kent State by 3

UConn by 8 over (2-2) Kansas.

FGCU holding a 2-pt advantage heading in to the 4th quarter over #18 NC. Gonna be an interesting last quarter.

UNC off to a brutal start this year and it could be much worse

Awaiting the rematch between Iowa and KSU....will CC avenge her team's only loss so far this season? She shot terribly in that first game 9/32 and 2/16 with only 3 assists.

Btw triaddukefan Day-Wilson went 7/7 and 5/5 from three today....thought you'd like to know.

I ordered FloSports for a month to see those 2 games tonight.

4:13 left in the game Iowa up 67 - 62
55 seconds to go Iowa w/the ball and 2-pt lead
Clark w/a couple of dagger 3's down the stretch
Iowa wins 77 - 70

That was a good game. The 2 Flo games tonight were worth getting it for a month.

Probably tired of starting the game on the bench......
Oddly enough, she performs better coming off the bench from what I remember of her time at Duke. Miami has a lot of guards though. Will be interesting to see if she will replace someone, like her Canadian counterpart Dwyer, in the starting rotation.

Yes, she always has, but she doesn't like coming off the bench

Trust me, I'm very aware of that. Teams have always been built around her being a starter dating back to even before her Crestwood days. With her goals being to be a pro in the future, adjusting to being a role player is important because there's no guarantee she would be one at that level.

Heck, she's been surpassed by others like Prosper and Swords for the Canadian Senior National team which should be an indication that there's work to do. Hopefully she'll learn this over the next couple seasons.

The importance of 3pt shooting, and a grim reminder of what we’ve lost with Azzi and Caroline.

Not sure if I ever mentioned it, but you are probably my favorite Canadian poster on the BY.
Well, that's kind of expected since the rest are probably Syracuse fans.

Which part of Canada would consider Syracuse to be their team?

Sorry, but I highly doubt those in BC would chose the Orange over Gonzaga's Bulldogs based on Gonzaga's recruiting success over the last decade ;)

Good for her. Hopefully she can do that versus Chapel Hill, ND, F$U and Louisville. I took an unofficial poll of Duke fans, (1 voted) and overwhelmingly they/we are happier with our current starting PG than our former one.

Inside joke among some UCONN fans. Syracuse is so far north that they are really a part of Canada more so than the US... at least that's my interpretation.

Whichever part Syracuse is located in?

I 2nd that vote!

Maybe in the northeastern part of the US, LOL. Spokane is a heck of a lot further north than Syracuse ;)

I'm hoping your reply was sarcasm becuase if you're not sure which state Syracuse is in, why bring it up?
