The Paradise Jam takes place November 22nd through 24th and the brackets have been released.

The Huskies will play Ole Miss (22nd), St. John's (23rd), and Purdue (24th).

I see that all the UConn games are at 8:30 PM. Is this to maximize an anticipated TV audience?
If so, who is broadcasting the games?

UCLA won't be.

Ole Miss was 1-15 in the SEC. They can't be much worse. So yea, they will probably improve.

USF & UCLA attending is only marginally different from U Hawaii attending.

Schools NOT already living in paradise would seem better able to appreciate USVI ....

USF & UCLA should be playing in the Great Alaska Shootout.

Purdue is going to be really good. They had a plethora of excellent underclassmen last year. I think they could end up top-20 this year.

Actually I like the bracket. The Huskies haven't played any of those teams in awhile so fresh opponents makes it all the more interesting.

The site Flo Hoops is intimating that they will be broadcasting the games. That wouldn't bode well for an ESPN3 telecast.

Games will probably be over by then anyway. No need to wake up and watch the "scrubs".

I think Purdue only graduated one senior this year, and St. John's returns five of the
top six scorers from last year's team. As Meyers says, Ole Miss could scarcely be worse
than last year. So our kids may have to work a little bit in two of the three games.

My concerns are confirmed. Not only for this tourney but perhaps for the year if ESPN3 isn't streaming SNY broadcasts.

UConn Women Heading Back To Paradise Jam With Games Against Ole Miss, St. John's And Purdue

Ole Miss fired its coach and then had several players transfer out, including some of their starters. I actually think they will be worse next year. There's such a thing as going from bad to worse.
