Palm has us at 5
But the ville fell 2 spots to 7
How is that? This bracket is suspect.....

I want no part of Texas and their huge frontcourt.

Not to mention it would be a home game for them in Palm's scenario.

But, we've had luck in San Antonio and we love NYC, so I'd take it.

His argument: Louisville right now has 3 Top 100 wins. That's it. No team with that few Top 100 wins has gotten a single digit seed, and only Middle Tennessee State has even gotten in with that few since 2003.

This is the problem with having dreck in the conference.

PC's RPI is in the 60's I believe. Sorry, but they're not getting in with that. Not even a play-in. I'm struck every day how soft this year's bubble is. So many teams that are still being considered wouldn't get a sniff in most years. At least it feels that way.

It's hard to argue with that. And the conference isn't entirely to blame - aside from UNC and Kentucky (both games that they lost), Louisville didn't play anybody OOC. Louisville will have their chance to play their way into a better seed, though, as the schedule really ramps up for them starting tomorrow @ Cincinnati.

Your second point is the argument to disprove your first point.

Everyone needs to be careful what they wish for…….I realize these teams are teams we can beat. But PC really? Another Super Bowl for them which as always means even more to them than us…..I know I know we should win blah blah blah…….but give us Minny and then the Shockers somewhere and I'm good!

Winning an NCAA tournament game means more to PC than us??? Im pretty sure both teams would be sufficiently motivated simply because its an NCAA tourney game. Every NCAA tournament game is the Super Bowl.

I would hope it would be sufficient for us but double up the fact PC is in the tourney with the fact they get UConn and reality is this would be monstrous to their kids, and for good reason. Should our kids match it since they sat out last year? Absolutely but one never knows…….I like our guys anyway but you want a team who would be sky high and then some?

God help this board if we lose to Providence in the NCAAT.
You do realize that during the lifetimes of every current college basketball player there was only one spring where PC actually won games in the big dance.
